Diving cylinders supply the essential air needed for diving. Each cylinder carries compressed air, with its capacity determined by its volume (in litres) multiplied by its working pressure (WP). For example, a 10L cylinder at 300 Bar holds 3000 litres of air. We offer a variety of cylinder sizes, including the popular Faber 12L steel dumpy cylinder commonly used in South Africa. Our selection includes everything from compact Spare Air cylinders to large 18L steel options, along with various steel, aluminium, and oxygen cylinders.
As cylinders are critical life support equipment, regular servicing and inspections are essential. Cylinders require a visual inspection every two years and a hydrostatic test every four years to confirm safety standards. We manage all necessary servicing to ensure your cylinder meets SANS 10019 standards.
All cylinders contain compressed gas, and we ensure the highest quality, filtered breathing air when filling. We fill cylinders to a maximum of 300 Bar (provided the cylinder’s WP supports this pressure) and can also fill with Nitrox and 100% pure oxygen using our Haskel System.
