Safety Notice: All cylinders purchased online will be shipped empty for safety reasons. If you’d like us to fill your cylinder, select “Local Pickup” at checkout to collect it in-store, and we’ll fill it at no additional cost.

Please Note: Cylinders are sold as Air cylinders, for use with Nitrox or Trimix the cylinder will require additional oxygen cleaning. Please take the cylinder to your nearest dive store or SANAS test facility.

Diving cylinders, also known as scuba tanks, are an essential part of a diver’s equipment, storing the compressed breathing air, Nitrox, or oxygen needed for underwater exploration. Cylinder capacity is determined by volume (in litres) multiplied by working pressure (WP). For example, a 10L cylinder at 300 Bar holds 3000 litres of air, ensuring an extended dive time.

Cylinder Safety, Maintenance & Air Fills

Since diving cylinders are critical life support equipment, regular maintenance is essential. To comply with SANS 10019 safety standards, all cylinders require:
✔ Visual Inspection: Every 2 years
✔ Hydrostatic Test: Every 4 years
